Let's dive a little deeper.
And here is a tiny bit of code by me that you can try out in your browser. I wrote it recently. It's a JavaScript bookmarklet-code which lists the names and contents of JavaScript-accessible cookies on any webpage you visit when you activate the bookmarklet (a.k.a. favlet). You can try it here by clicking on this link: JS-Cookies. If you want to install it in your browser you can simply drag this link into your bookmarks bar at the top of the window where it will become a button if there is enough free space. Or you can add it to your bookmarks menu via a process starting with an alt-click on the link. However, some browsers don't allow these methods. So, alternatively, you can copy the below code and paste it directly into the URL of a bookmark you are editing:
Note: Keep in mind that less and less cookies are accessible by JavaScript nowadays for security reasons. So, a site you visit may place a gazillion cookies on your device that a JavaScript bookmarklet cannot identify. Your browser may sport 'Developer Tools' that can.
Another little bookmarklet I whipped up the other day to help me with responsive design (since equivalent functions in browsers seem to come and go) is this little window stats checker: WinStats. I share it here, too, in case you may have some use for it:
